Im Jahre 1925 gründete Herr Van Amelsvoort in Tilburg in den Niederlanden seine eigene Schuhfabrik die er Adelaar (auf Deutsch Adler) nannte. Im Jahre 1937 registrierte er den Markennamen Goliath und hat als Ziel trendy Schuhe zu entwickeln. Diese Schuhe sind an Niederländische Wetterumstände abgelehnt und werden immer mit Leidenschaft für Qualität entwickelt. Wegen der kleinen Linie wird Fachmännisches Können immer berücksichtigt. Nach 80 Jahren wird immer noch auf dieses Fachmännisches Können berücksichtigt. Goliath versucht Mode, Sport, Qualität, Stil und Funktion in ihren Produkten zu mischen.
